Job Description:

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Must have in Bold Blue text… each one.

  • Have 8 Years’ Experience in a Windows/Linux Administration DevOps environment
  • Have experience with Redhat/Centos/Ubuntu operating systems especially rpm/yum/apt utilities
  • Have 5 years of experience with AWS EKS
  • Have 5 years of experience with AWS Workspace
  • Have 5 years of experience with Gitlab, Gitlab CI/CD
  • Have 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker
  • Have 5 years experience with Jira Cloud
  • Have experience on the the technologies like Vue.js, React Native & Python.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Setup, Manage AWS for software development (see required skills)
  • Setup, Manage Gitlab CI/CD
  • Manage Azure AD
  • Attend daily standup
  • Develop interfaces between external tooling and Jira infrastructure.
  • Using Jira REST APIs, develop one-off solutions for integrations with other tools, automate manual processes, data migration routines and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes. 
  • Implement Jira upgrades, and partner with our stakeholders to coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system migrations in an AWS environment.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation.
  • Develop and maintain production monitoring and alerting scripts.
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain software deployment automation.
  • Configuration management.
  • Location: Remote, but needs to be in Pacific or Central Time Zone
  • Provide detailed, accurate timesheets
  • **Onshore/ Offshore (any location is fine for DevOps Engineer's hiring)
